ANGER MANAGEMENT

Anger is a powerful emotion that can lead to serious problems in your relationships and career as well as affecting your health adversely if left unchecked. Anger may stem from external or internal issues such as psychological problems and occupational issues. People who easily get angry are described as  quick tempered. They tend to act angrily because they can’t control their anger. There are a few methods to deal with anger.
One way to control anger  is to learn how to listen patiently. Thus, you can let the anger go and feel relaxed while listening. For instance, when you get annoyed at/ with someone while talking to him, try not to react aggressively. Wait until he finishes his speech, and then respond calmly. Likewise, Thomas Jefferson said “When angry, count to ten before you speak; if very angry, a hundred.” If you react angrily and swiftly, your partner may be affected by your hostile behavior and he may overreact in return , which feeds anger.
Another way to cope with anger is to see the full side of the glass. In order not to get angry, you need to be optimistic. When you make  mistakes, try to focus on the positive side and learn from mistakes rather than getting angry. In addition, don’t criticize or complain about everything. If you criticize something too much, you will automatically neglect its benefits and see only its downsides, which will make you lose your temper . Additionally, complaining too much brings you nothing but anger. Don’t spend your life  complaining; instead, try to seek  happiness in life. As a result, you can enjoy life without allowing for anger.
A further method to control anger would be to do the job you love. If you do the job that you actually don’t want to do, you are more likely to face frequent problems  . Thus, you might get tired mentally or physically due to these problems. Consequently, you become susceptible to anger . Your anger might boil over  as a result of even small  conflicts. If, however, you do the job you enjoy, you can solve the problems thanks to your passion for the job. Your passion prevents you from losing your temper.
All in all, anger is an emotion that can be stabilized by resorting to some methods. For example being optimistic, or being patient can be beneficial for one who wants to control his anger. Anger is produced by a person himself and can be controlled by him. After all, why do we want to be a slave to  our emotions.
