CHRONIC STRESS (This is a 70)

There is no denying that despite numerous technological developments and progress in daily life, the people of the 21th century are not entirely happy. A great number of people are suffering from more stress than ever before. According to a host of psychologists, stress is an inevitable phenomenon, but chronic stress can lead to loneliness and failure which are two major undesirable results.
When we look at the full picture, we can become aware of the magnificant arrangement of nature. Not only people, but also animals live together and communicate with each other. Particularly people who are suffering from chronic stress, that is people who experience continuous stress, cannot maintain healthy and harmonious relationships. Therefore, these kinds of people try to avoid communicating with other people. Due to the fact that this type of behaviour does not solve the problem of chronic stress, they are suffering from stress much more than before.
There is no doubt that being successful and happy  requires a certain amount of confidence. A person who is in a stressful situation thinks whatever she/he does, she/he will not be a successful person and do meaningful work. The more stress we feel, the more our confidence decreases. For example, students who get a low grade can feel stressful. If they cannot cope with this kind of stress these students lose their belief in themselves although they are capable of getting better grades.
All in all, when all these situations are taken into consideration, the damage done by  chronic stress is understood in a better way. Dealing with chronic stress is crucial for a successful and joyful life. Otherwise, the effects of chronic stress contribute to unwanted consequences such as loneliness and failure. We should protect ourselves from stress as much as we can so that we can live successfully, productively and happily.
