FOREIGN LANGUAGE INSTRUCTION IN KINDERGARTEN

Thanks to  multilingualism, our society is becoming better equipped to meet their natural desire for knowledge than ever before. Yet, some people, especially adults and old people, are struggling with learning a foreign language due to their inability to use their linguistic intelligence. Language development, without a doubt, cannot happen overnight, the process is long and difficult.. Hence, authorities should start foreign language instruction as early as possible, particularly in kindergarten.
The present study is intended to discover  why children  improve their language skills more easily. Namely, children’s cognitive development enables greater language acquisition and therefore, they have a natural inclination to be good at using grammar rules, improving their diction and so on. Children’s unconscious learning abilities, in general, may even cause them to be more fluent in their second language compared to their mother tongue. Take a father dealing with learning English and his child taking the same language lessons in school. Despite the overexertion of the father, the child is inclined to enjoy  the fruits of his work in a short  time.
When it comes to the age factor, again, however hard adults try to develop their language skills; they cannot go further than children do. Children’s natural curiosity and willingness to explore new things or to learn through experience are contributory factors to their language development. Even if those children unwittingly listen to a foreign language in class and basically use it while communicating with their peers, astonishingly, they can improve both their own and new language. That is to say, the natural exposure to the  language, undoubtedly, makes them one of the future polyglots. In short, instead of trying to overcome the problems of the foreign tongue among adults, governments should lay the way  for children’s second language learning immediately.

The obvious conclusion to be drawn is that knowing a foreign language, particularly English is imperative in order to have a better futurein the contemporary world,. Furthermore, it is an undeniable fact that children have more of a tendency to learn and use a foreign language more effectively, if they are educated at  an early age.
