IS ONLINE VOTING A FEASIBLE OPTION FOR THE FUTURE? (This is a good 60)

  In the modern world we can do many things online without effort: shopping,working,playing,doing business.Voting is a fundemental part  of democrarcy and it is often wondered why it isn’t online in the world.Many developed countries such as: USA,Finland,Germany and Italy have been using the e-voting system,and the results are being discussed around the world.Many argue that e-voting is an unnecessary way to vote.However,I believe that it will probably be the best way to vote in  the future.

First of all,the e-voting system may play an important role in increasing the number of voters.Simple access to polling places is a major issue for many voters,including the disabled and elderly and students away from home. Introducing the e-voting system can become a solution.People can vote  everywhere, by accessing  the internet.Therefore,people won’t have an excuse  not to vote.

 Another issue is that whenever there is an election,something usually goes wrong.Someone tries to cheat,a ballot box goes missing,or cats enter the transformers(trafo). The e-voting system which is the use of electronic means to mark a ballot paper can solve this problem.According to this system,people get a ballot at random, then they mark their choices and they enter the system without their ballot paper.Another way is that people  just use the  internet to vote.Therefore,no one can change/tamper with the votes and no hacker can break into this system.Thus,e-voting may lead to a reduction in the bad events during  election time.

On the other hand, some people claim that e-voting doesn’t work because this system is too hard  to implement.The technology used in this system  is very expensive and complicated.Therefore,it can not spread easily around the world.Moreover,many goverments may not want this system due to the fact that they can not affect people on behalf of their political party. However, expense should not be an issue when the future of the country isa at stake. Funds can be diverted from the luxury cars and homes built for those in government for example.

 In conclusion,we are living in a developing world.Every thing is changing and developing day by day,so we must adapt.E-voting is a part of this development.In my opinion,people will realize that e-voting is the best way and it will be a feasible option for the future.
