It
is a well-known fact that history is crucial for
humanbeings. Therefore, historical sites and artifacts which tell us about
history are essential. It is worth bearing in mind that we should preserve
historical sites and artifats .However, despite the warnings given by
authorities about the adverse
effects of destroying historical places, some continue to destroy them. Thus, it may be a goood
idea to consider the negative effects of destroying our cultural heritage including damage to the
culture and the economy of a country.
Firstly, from my point of view,it should be noted that historical sites and artifacts are the most important elements of the culture of a country.People should preserve them in order to continue their culture.Cultural heritage ,also allows us to better understand previous generations and the history of where we come from.If people want to remove a culture ,firstly they damage the cultural heritage. In addition, cultural heritage is a bridge which links the past and the future of a community. If someone destroys it ,he can easily eliminate this link.Unless it is protected, culture will inevitably disappear.
Another effect is that destroying historical places gives rise to a decline in the revenue of a
country. These places have a great impact on the economy of a country since historical sites and artifacts
attract a lot of people to the
country. On account of places like these, countries boost their revenue by means of an increase in the
number of tourists coming to countries. In contrast unless authorities take some
measures to preserve these places,it can
lead to a severe decrease in this number. This could give rise to great
negative effects to the economy of a country.
When everything is taken into account,it can be concluded that
preservation of historical sites and artifacts is crucial for a culture and
country. It has a great effect on the culture and economy of a country.Unless
people protect their heritage ,they will suffer severe negative effects
including the disappearence of their culture
and a decrease in revenue.
